Worship at St. John

Sunday services

Join us for in-person worship at 8 a.m., 9:15 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.. The two later services are live-streamed on our YouTube channel. If you would like to watch a previous service, click here

Each service has a unique character, but all share basic elements. In all services we pray individually and together, we hear the Word of God read from scripture, we hear the same sermon,  we sing, we receive an offering, and we are sent back into the world to share the love of Christ.

9:15 a.m. Traditional Service

An hour-long service with hymns, a choir or bell choir, and a special time and message for children.

11:30 a.m. Contemporary Service

An hour-long service led by our worship band. This service also includes a time for children.

People with Disabilities

Our building is fully accessible and people with disabilities worship regularly at St. John. We do our best to accommodate all persons, even when it means some minor disruptions may occur in worship. We are a family, and families accept one another’s differences. ASL Interpretation is often available at the 11:30 a.m. service (let the church office know if you need an interpreter and we'll set it up for you.) Assisted listening devices are available in the sanctuary during worship. We request that persons minimize the use of fragrances in the building.

We certify that our congregation scored at the Gold Badge level based on completing the 2019 Annual Accessibility Audit for United Methodist Churches and a review of our facilities and programs. By accepting this “Disability-Friendly and Accessible” designation, this congregation commits to continuing to remove barriers of architecture, communication, and attitudes so that people with disabilities are fully included in all aspects of worship, leadership, ministry, and mission.  We agree that the Gold Badge statement reflects our church facilities as well as congregational values and practices.
