All are welcome. All events start at 9:30 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Contact the St. John office for more information.

JUNE

June 1 – Serve: Service project at St. John UMC with Tess Vandiver

June 8 – Explore/Eat: Walk from Margaret Eagan Sullivan Park at Westchester Lagoon (1824 W. 15th Ave.) to Fire Island Bakery (718 K St.) via the Coastal Trail and back (1.5 miles one-way). Stop for coffee/pastry and return.

June 22 – Serve: FISH re-packing at St. John UMC

June 29 – Serve: FISH take-over at the FISH pantry

JULY

July 13 – Explore: Hike at Mt. Baldy Trailhead in Eagle River; meet at St. John to carpool

July 19 – (5-7 p.m.) LGBTQ panel hosted at Colleen Runty’s house. Call the church office for Colleen’s address

July 20 – Serve: FISH re-packing at St. John UMC

July 27 – Explore/Eat: Walk from Taku Lake Park to Arctic Roadrunner along the Campbell Creek Trail (2.1 miles one way), eat lunch, and walk back

AUGUST

August 10 – Explore/Eat: Coffee, tea and scones at Mary Alice Donaldson’s house, after a short walk at Ruth Arcand Park. Call the church office for Mary Alice’s address.

August 17 – Serve: FISH re-packing at St. John UMC

August 24 – Eat: Coffee and/or breakfast at Middle Way Coffee (1200 W. Northern Lights Blvd., near Title Wave Books)
