This past Sunday you helped to do the impossible. You made worship INCREDIBLE even though we couldn't gather together. We shared in music together. We shared in prayer together. You interacted with one another through the chat and the menti.com sharing of joys and concerns. For being apart, it was clear the Holy Spirit brought us TOGETHER through our worship together online. If you missed it, you can still be a part of the traditional 9:15 service or the contemporary 11:30 service by clicking the links.
Because it is becoming clear that this social-distancing is going to be our reality for some time, we are working this week to move our discipleship small groups on-line, and I want to encourage you to be a part of them. Some of our small groups are arranged and ready to go. Others we are still working on. If you lead a small group, or want to start a new one, let us know, and we'll help you to get set up so that we can still be connected and social even though we must remain physically apart.
This Wednesday I'll be leading our Proverbs Bible Study from 6:30-7:30pm. You can join us via ZOOM. We are still working on more offerings for online interactions for our kids and youth, so stay tuned as those are developed in the days and weeks ahead.
Friends, we ARE the body of Christ, and NOTHING can separate us from the love of Christ in one another, not even social-distancing. Let us intentionally connect with one another in these ways to lift each other up while simultaneously caring for and protecting those most at risk of Covid-19.
